--The Most Famous Festivals in the Country are:

*The Carnival:


It is a festival celebrated by Panamanians, which lasts four days after Ash Wednesday.






*National Holidays (in the month of November):
A month where Panamanians proudly celebrate being a country bathed by the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, of its history that commemorate specific days of the month of November which are the 3, 4, 10 and 28 of this month.


*The international Flower and Coffee Fair (Chiriqui-Boquete):

This fair brings together both Panamanians and foreigners for its beautiful decorations with flowers, places to spend with the family, exalting the coffee harvested in Boquete province of Chiriqui.



*Festival of the Thousand Polleras (Las tabla-Los Santos):
Festival where Panamanian women are adorned with different typical garments, which are made by the hands of women proud of their traditions, exalting this beautiful costume, this festival takes place in the province of Los Santos.

*The International Fair of Azuero (Herrera):

Fair open to the town of azuero and people who want to go, various events are held, it has a place for mechanical games, handicrafts made by the Chitreans and other provinces are sold.



*Christmas:
Christmas is a holiday celebrated all over the world and Panama, in my home at this time a dinner is made, the little tree and the birth of Jesus are placed.


*New Year:

In the new year my family does the same as at Christmas, but this time we wait for the end of one year and the beginning of another full of prosperity, harmony, love and the blessing of our father God.



*Festival of the Handsome Bull of Anton:
The handsome bull of anton is a typical festival of the province of cocle, the antoneros have a tradition called the encutarrada cow, they sing drums, go on wagon rides, the women dress in skirts and the men in gala dresses (typical camisilla white, black pants and cutarras).



*Children's, Mother's, Father's day:

These three days are celebrated on different dates of the year, Children's Day emphasizes their rights and well-being, Mother's Day is celebrated in honor of that woman who brought our mother into the world and Father's Day dedicated to all those parents who are a hero image to their children.


--Typical foods of the country are:

*Stew:


It is a typical dish of our country, delicious made of chicken, yucca, yam, oregano and coriander.




*The tamal:

The tamale is a main appetizer made by Panamanians, especially for Christmas and New Years to decorate your table and taste this tasty food.

Rice with chicken:

Made by Panamanians in these family festivities, you cannot miss it on a birthday, accompanied by a delicious potato salad.




*Rice with coconut and pigeon peas:


UMMM ... Rice with coconut and pigeon peas, a dish made by Panamanians who accompany it on several occasions with stewed chicken, for its sauce that gives it a final and tasty touch.


*Saus:

It is a delicious aperitif made at parties or meetings or parking of a good Panamanian.






*Ceviche:

--Typical dances are:

*Point:
This is a typical traditional dance of Panama, it is danced by a single couple, who wear their beautiful typical Panamanian dress, the pollera and their camillisa and pantaon with their cutarras. They dance it in folklore events of the country.

*The Dance of the Cucua:

It is a traditional Panamanian dance from the province of Coclé, danced by children, youth and adults, the clothing is made of the bark of the trees, many foreigners like to visit these towns, dress and even dance it.


*The Cumbia Chorrerana:

dance where the women make some crosses with their skirts going to the center while the men go out with their hats in hand, it is danced in the chorrerana fair.


*Congo:

It is a traditional dance adopted by the colonists of the Afro-descendants (Conngo-Cameroon among others), the dance of the Congolese man and woman is made by a violent and erotic character.




--Traditional costumes:

* The Skirts:
Typical dress that many are made by hand to adorn the Panamanian woman.

*The Montuno Ocueño
